about
BOND is an AI Chief of Staff that connects to Slack, email, calendar, and existing tools to surface what actually requires attention. Every morning, The Presidential Brief shows users who's waiting on them, what matters today, and what needs to be done—eliminating the chaos of constant context-switching and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. For their Y Combinator 2025 batch launch, BOND needed video content that would cut through the noise of productivity tool fatigue and position their product as essential infrastructure for modern work.
The challenge was demonstrating value in a crowded market where everyone claims to solve information overload. Generic product demos wouldn't break through, and pure feature marketing wouldn't capture the deeper frustration BOND addresses: talented people becoming organizational bottlenecks not because they lack ability, but because they lack clarity on where they're actually needed. The video needed to work for both consumer adoption and investor storytelling during a critical fundraising moment.
We developed a narrative approach that fused product demonstration with cultural context, using soundbytes from tech giants like Steve Jobs and Brian Chesky to establish the problem before revealing BOND as the solution. Rather than leading with AI features, we positioned the product around the outcome: never being the blocker, never missing what matters, never dropping the ball. The juxtaposition of legendary founder wisdom with practical product utility created both emotional resonance and concrete value demonstration. Visually, we integrated Presidential Brief UI showcases with archival footage, creating a rhythm that balanced inspiration with information.
The video launched as part of BOND's YC announcement and immediately gained traction across social platforms. The post reached over 2,000 likes and nearly 500 comments, making it one of the most viral YC launch videos of the year. The momentum supported BOND's fundraising efforts, contributing to a $3M seed round led by Fellows Fund with participation from Y Combinator, Goodwater Capital, E14 Fund, Pioneer Fund, and notable angel investors.
We handled concept development, archival sourcing, scriptwriting, video editing, motion graphics integration, sound design, and social optimization to deliver launch content that performed across investor presentations and organic social distribution.
